About the course
Course content
- Multivariate integrals and vector calculus.
- Partial differential equations.
- Linear algebra: Jordan form, SVD and optimization.
Learning outcome
The student understands concepts, results, and methods from from multivariate calculus, partial differential equations and linear algebra, and is able to use these to formulate and solve problems in mathematics and its applications, if necessary with the additional aid of mathematical software.

Retake of examination may be given as an oral examination. The retake exam is in August.
